Jesus said in Mark 4:26-29, "The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.” If the Word truly gets planted in our hearts, it will bring change. He says it’s as we “sleep by night and rise by day,” meaning there is a process to His Word changing us and bringing results in our life. We must remain patient to see the end results of the truths planted in our heart.
In Mark 4:31 Jesus said the Kingdom “is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth.” The message of the Gospel and the kingdom of God may seem so insignificant to the natural man, but one day the message of the Kingdom will manifest in the entire world. I guess we can’t walk by sight but by faith.
Jesus did not speak to the people “without a parable,” but “He explained all things to His disciples” when He was alone with them (Mark 4:34). If we have given our life to learn from Jesus and live in His ways He will explain all thing to us, but if we don’t love the truth, we’re going to remain in the dark.
