Proverbs 27:7 A satisfied soul loathes the honeycomb, But to a hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.
- The key to receiving all of God is continuing to remain very hunger for everything He has for you. Often you will need to receive bitter things, but with true hunger and love for the Lord, those things remain sweet. Proverbs 28:8 One who increases his possessions by usury and extortion Gathers it for him who will pity the poor. - The LORD pities the poor and will funnel provision into the hands of those who will pity them also. Make sure you pity and give to the poor. Proverbs 28:23 He who rebukes a man will find more favor afterward Than he who flatters with the tongue. - We need to be more concerned about loving people than them loving us. Sometimes we need to rebuke or correct someone in love (even someone who we haven’t known long). If we are the type of person who only says things to make others feel good, that selfishness will be seen in time.

I am also now reading a book by Steven Scott "the Richest Man Who Ever Lived" about Solomon and the book of Proverbs.
