_ All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16)
As we start “day 1” by reading Genesis chapters 1-3 it’s obvious that we are covering a lot of rich Word in a short time. I will trust the Lord to highlight to each of us what He knows we need for each day. As we seek God in His Word, I believe He will speak to each of us and give us “daily manna.” So they gathered it (the Manna) every morning, every man according to his need. And when the sun became hot, it melted. (Exodus 16:21) Now, let’s dig in and get what God has for us…. The book of Genesis was the first of the five books written by Moses. Moses wrote the books of Genesis through Deuteronomy. Israelites call these books “The Torah” (law, direction, instruction). Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. The earth was “without form” and “void”… meaning, there was no life and no order; this is the state of everything that God isn’t a part of. Romans 1:20 states that God’s creation clearly shows us that there is an all powerful, eternal God. Before God manifested anything, the Holy Spirit was hovering over the earth until the Word of God was spoken. Holy Spirit was ready to do the work, but the Word needed to be spoken in faith first. 1. We’ve been made in God’s image; how do fail or succeed in bringing life and order into the world? 2. What was God’s opinion of what He had created? 3. What caused Eve to sin? 4. What caused Adam to sin? 5. Please, share anything that stood out to you to bless others that will read this.

I was thinking about how the devil messes with our minds to make us think that God's plan, His order, His ways are somehow lacking. That we are somehow missing out or God is keeping something from us. Even Adam and Eve. They weren't dealing with a fallen world or all the deception we have around us today. They were living in a world that didn't fight them. Yet Eve was still deceived into believing that God was keeping something good from them. And Adam was deceived by her conviction that this was a good thing to do, even though God said not to.
