Ezekiel says in chapter 40, verse 2, “In visions of God he brought me to the land of Israel;” it’s interesting that it was a vision but it must have seemed very real. A man says to Ezekiel in verse 4, "Son of man, look with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I shall show you.” Ezekiel would see in this “vision,” hear things in it, and later we find out that he would correspond to those in the vision. Ezekiel 40 through 48 seem to be confusing chapters for many people. All the specific measurements of the Temple point to the fact that this is a real Temple, not just symbolic. Also, we have no record of this Temple ever being built, so it would appear that this is the Temple Of Messiah in His Millennial reign. If this is the case though, why is there sin offerings mentioned in Ezekiel 42:13? We know Jesus Christ redeemed us with His blood once and for all (Heb. 9:12). This is an area of Scripture I will do some more study on before I make any conclusive statements. Below is a short video on the Temple.
